Because we're unable to see multiple sides of things, we're isolating ourselves by only seeing and/or agreeing with people and topics that offer no opposition to what we believe in or think to be "right".

This is causing the population to, in a sense, become more "stupid" which in turn is/will be the cause of an immense outburst of violence and hate.
